In the Beginning...

Welcome to AerodromeTheMovie.com! We are very excited to get this film underway and invite you to come along for the ride. The whole idea of this short documentary is to leave the impersonal skies of modern aviation and enter the world where flight first began. This film will be shot at Old Rhinbeck Aerodrome in upstate New York. ORA is a 'living museums' that has one of the best FLYING collections of antique airplanes in the world. Our goal is to profile the ORA, the bi-planes, and the pilots who fly them. AERODROME would utilize a combination of cinematic in-air footage, as well as high-speed cameras to capture the feeling of flight, while also offering a meditation on one of man's greatest achievements at the turn of the 20th century. Of course we need to raise money to do all of this. So we are gearing up for a fundraising campaign for the months of May and June.
