In-Air Stills
So the mounting has begun. Attaching the cameras to the planes is going very well. So far there hasnt been any issues and everyone at the ORA has been great. It has been really cool to climb inside, underneath and all over the planes to place these cameras. One aspect of attaching these cameras to the planes that we didn't really grasp at first is our mounting locations are limitied to structural components of the planes. For example, the struts on the wings, handles, and cross braces made of wood or metal. The skin of these airplanes are mostly stretched fabric...meaning no attachment points. We have story boards of our ideal camera angles but some of them just aren't possible with our mounting system. As well, each plane has a different structure which means they possible mounting points are different. Till the next airshow.
